About JSPS

The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) was founded in 1932 as a non-profit foundation with its headquarters in Tokyo. It is now Japan’s sole independent funding agency with the mission of advancing science. JPSP has offices in Washington DC, San Francisco, Bonn, London, Stockholm, Strasburg, Bangkok, Beijing, Cairo and Nairobi.

JSPS has 5 conclusive programs as its roadmap, each having its own subcategories:
