INSF Scientific Board Accepted 29 Research Proposals in their Last Meeting

In their last meeting in May 2019, Iran National Science Foundation (INSF) Scientific Board have accepted 29 research proposals submitted during the previous month.

Researchers and faculty members from all around the country submit their research proposals to INSF review panels. After the panels’ approval, the proposals go through the Scientific Board for the final approval. Those that have been announced as being accepted can soon after sign their contracts with INSF to benefit from their financial support.

Twenty-two review panels focusing on various fields such as science, technology, arts, humanities, medicine, environmental studies work all year long to foster development and breakthrough in Iran’s science arena.

INSF Scientific Board hold their meetings once every month. This month, 29 research proposals were able to earn the final approval and begin their research with INSF grants.

The accepted proposals have their focus on different fields, including technology and engineering, interdisciplinary studies, medicine, as well as basic sciences. These research projects will generate numerous outputs, inter alia, 43 academic peer-reviewed articles 30 of which are to be published in journals ranked as Q1, 1 prototype, and 1 technical knowledge.
